Who We Are
Keith Marks was born in New York and grew up in Florida and studied at the University of North Florida and Tel Aviv University. After college, he lived in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Central America. A jack-of-all trades, he’s taught university-level English, freelanced as a journalist/writer/editor, owns a massage/Pilates business with his wife, and has produced numerous arts and cultural events with the focus on bringing communities together. He worked in the field of communications, marketing, and public relations and has founded community initiatives Party, Benefit, & Jam; No Meat March, The Jacksonville Memorial Light Festival. He enjoys spending time with his family and listening to new music.

Peter Bailet was raised in the Boston area and studied at UMass and Northwestern University. Following university, he pursued a career in corporate finance. He has a wide range of professional experience, working at both Fortune 500 and start-up companies. He held senior positions at CSX, e-MedSoft.com and APL Direct Logistics. Currently, he sits on the Board and is Managing Director of a local private equity company with a portfolio of real estate and small businesses. He also provides financial consulting services to growing, small companies. He previously served as Treasurer on the non-profit boards of the Timacuan Parks Foundation and First Coast Soccer Association. He enjoys sailing, travel and music.
Founder/Board Vice President & All Things Design
Kedgar Volta was born in Havana, Cuba and studied design at the Superior Institute of Design (ISDI) graduating top of his class. After working in Havana as a designer, at the age of 25, Volta immigrated to the United States. Over the course of his years working for Brunet-Garcia Advertising Agency in Jacksonville, Florida, he rose from a designer to Art Director, creating nationally recognized work. His work has been featured in Communication Arts, National and Regional ADDY Awards, HOW, London International Creative Competition, Felicity International Graphic Competition, The Telly Awards, GD USA, and a number of Emmy Awards. Currently, he is one of the founders and Creative Director for Castaño Group, an interactive studio specializing in creating immersive experiences fusing art, advertising, and technology. In 2015, Volta was named Emerging Artist of the year by the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville. He relishes a creative challenge the pushes him beyond his comfort zones.

Maurice “Moe” Ricks is a 1995 graduate of the Full Sail Music Production Program. After completing his studies, he moved to San Francisco, California to accept an internship with Brilliant Studios. Following his internship, he took a position with the world-famous Different Fur Recording Studios also in San Francisco, California. While there, he engineered and produced for a wide range of artists; most notably, George Winston. For the past 21 years, Moe has operated “One Moe Pro,” a full-service recording and engineering business in Jacksonville, Florida. Currently, Moe works out of CoRK Art Studios where he records, mixes, and produces a wide range of products, including Avant Radio – a weekly radio program on Jacksonville’s local NPR station, WJCT.
Christina grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida. Although she graduated from Florida State University with a Masters in Philosophy, is more accurately (though more informally) a PhD ABD. She currently works at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Jacksonville as their Communications Director. She also does a bit of freelance web-development and photography. She is married to Paul Ramey and has an amazing eight-year-old, Sofia.
Todd is a management consultant with Deloitte’s Global Innovation Team, where he works to bring big concepts to market and transform the way business is done. He focuses particularly on innovation process and learning in the flow of work. Prior to Deloitte, Todd worked mainly in the non-profit sector, rebuilding homes in NYC, distributing mosquito nets in South Sudan to combat Malaria, teaching students in Washington, DC. Todd is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Mali. He has a Master degree from the Columbia University and a Bachelor degree from Colby College.
